Amid Arsenal’s dream run in the league, reports of Mikel Arteta linking with Real Madrid as the future manager started doing the rounds on the internet. According to journalist Tomas Gonzalez-Martin, Mikel Arteta is seen as a potential replacement for Carlo Ancelotti at Real Madrid. Speculations were rife that Ancelotti could leave the club at the end of this season.

The rumours started to spread after Real Madrid are trailing in the La Liga title race. Needless to say, Mikel Arteta wouldn’t want to leave Arsenal for sure.
