Ponniyin Selvan II Trailer: The team behind Mani Ratnam’s critically acclaimed Ponniyin Selvan 1 is returning with the eagerly anticipated sequel. The trailer for the sequel to the picture that dominated the box office last year is about to wow audiences. The creators of Ponniyin Selvan 2 have finally published a trailer. It’s guaranteed to give viewers flashbacks of the previous film.

The Ponniyin Selvan 2 crew premiered the film’s trailer in a massive ceremony in Chennai. The trailer was followed by the music release. Aishwarya was among the several cast members that showed up for the occasion. As the event’s special guest, Kamal Haasan was also there. In addition to Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Vikram, Jayam Ravi, Karthi, and Trisha Krishnan will also be featured in Ponniyin Selvan 2.

The trailer, like the teaser, was full of grandiose set pieces and flawless performances from the ensemble cast. Aishwarya’s strong performance as the stunning Queen Nandhini has brought the role to life.

The second Ponniyin Selvan film is also based on a book by Kalki Krishnamurthy, Ponniyin Selvan, published in 1955. It will pick off just where the original film left off, with Ponniyin Selvan staring down the barrel of death and Aishwarya Rai’s Oomai Rani diving into the ocean to rescue him. Two companies—Madras Talkies and Lyca Productions—provided funding for the movie.

Ponniyin Selvan II Trailer released

This is Aishwarya and Vikram’s second time working together following the success of Raavan in 2010. Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Karthi, Chiyaan Vikram, Trisha, and Jayam Ravi star in the film. Among the many supporting actors are Prakash Raj, Prabhu, Aishwarya Lekshmi, Sobhita Dhulipala, Jayaram, Ashwin Kakumanu, Mohan Raman, Sarathkumar, and Parthiban. AR Rahman, Sreekar Prasad, and Ravi Varman are just a few of the technical team members that contributed to the film’s success.

In PS1, the delegates of the overthrown Pandyas and the Chola ruler Sundara Chola pose a danger to the throne of the Cholas. The historical drama, which is now streaming on Amazon Video, left off with the revelation that Rai Bachchan had played two roles. The second section delves into the Cholas’ efforts to counter the Pandya rebels on the battlefield while also fending off dangers from inside their own empire.
