Watch: When Arsene Wenger Was Asked About His Opinion On Manchester City’s Breaches Of FFP

'I had a lot of problems with him'-Arsene Wenger reveals the manager whom he hated the most during his time as Arsenal coach

Arsene Wenger is one of the most-loved and respected managers in the Premier League. There is no doubt that he is an Arsenal legend. And though the end to his career with the Gunners was not the very best, it was clearly time to go for him. Despite that, there is no love lost between the Frenchman and the Gunners.

Further, the former Arsenal boss is not in any managerial role at present. He is working with FIFA for the development of the game. And with that being said, his work involves helping the sport grow in various countries, where it is not that developed yet!!

He is currently FIFA’s Chief of Global Football Development (his role). With that being said, Arsene Wenger was recently questioned on Manchester City’s break of FFP rules. He was asked for his opinions and comments on the matter.

Below is the video where Arsene Wenger gives a funny yet subtle response to the wrong-doings of Manchester City!!

Arsene Wenger would be more than happy if Manchester City get punished. They have been poaching Arsenal players since the Wenger days. Though this season has been different after many, Le Boss doesn’t have any sympathy for the Cityzens. He is clear about what he thinks of them.

And this doesn’t have anything to do with Pep Guardiola. It is more to do with Manchester City and the OIL MONEY that they have been pumping into the top flight of English football. And Wenger has always believed that this will ruin football!!

What will be the result of these breaches post the investigation, remains to be seen. However, for now, the two teams, Arsenal and Manchester City will be focused on the League title that they are fighting for. One of these two sides will come out on top. Arsene Wenger would surely want it to be his side!!

It is Mikel Arteta and his team’s title to lose; can they get over the line and win the League!?

Football is a game of narratives. And in general, most rival fans wanted Arsenal to dethrone Manchester City this season. Despite that, some of the fans have now switched sides. There are multiple reasons for this. And at the end of the day, for some, it is just a situation where they lose no matter what!!

The focus for Mikel Arteta and co. right now is to get the job done. On the other hand, Pep Guardiola will be confident that his team can lift yet another League title. Both teams are going neck and neck at present. And any slipups could really cost either side.

This is something that both Spanish managers know and will want to avoid. Either one can be crowned champion here. It is just a matter of 9-10 games. The fans know it and will want their teams to get the job done.

Arsene Wenger will surely want to be at Arsenal if Mikel Arteta does lift the Premier League title. At the end of the day, it was he who brought the former Everton midfielder to the club. And made him club captain!! Wenger did it again!! #COYG
