Liverpool Transfer News: Despite Liverpool and Manchester United’s interest, Randal Kolo Muani may remain at Eintracht Frankfurt until June 2024

Liverpool Transfer News: According to Caught Offside’s interview with Fabrizio Romano, Eintracht Frankfurt will do anything it can to retain French forward Randal Kolo Muani until June 2024. Many European clubs have taken notice of Kolo Muani recently due to his stellar performance. However, the Bundesliga heavyweights are not prepared to part ways with him before the next season.

The 24-year-old French international has drawn the attention of Premier League giants Manchester United and Liverpool. The Frankfurt forward’s whereabouts have been closely monitored. The summer of 2024 seems to be the earliest they may negotiate with the club.

Fabrizio Romano said, “I’m told Eintracht Frankfurt’s position is not clear yet. People close to the club feel they will insist to keep the player at least until June 2024. But it will depend on the proposals as always. The price could go up to €80m/€90m. Again, it depends on Frankfurt and whether they want to sell or not.”

Liverpool Transfer News: What’s the matter?

In this current season, Randal Kolo Muani has been outstanding. He has contributed 14 goals and 14 assists for the German team. This 24-year-old has contributed to 21 goals in 19 games played in the Bundesliga. His outstanding stats and impressive play on the field have earned him a lot of praise. Several teams have shown an interest in signing him.

For Muani, however, it all began at the 2022 FIFA World Cup. When he scored in the World Cup semi-final against Morocco, he shot to fame. He played for France all the way through to the World Cup championship game. Because of Christopher Nkunku’s injury, he was able to join the French team for the big event after initially not being a part of it.

Muani joined Eintracht Frankfurt that summer of 2022. His contract is set to expire in the summer of 2027. Since this is the case, the German club will have more leverage in the talks. A lot of clubs may want to hire him. The Eagles have signed him for a year, but they haven’t decided whether they want to release him. However, many who are familiar with the club’s plans think they will do anything they can to retain him until June 2024.

Who will get Randal Kolo Muani?

For different reasons, both Manchester United and Liverpool might benefit from having more offensive firepower. Liverpool, who had a disappointing season, needs to get back on track. Manchester United need a good number nine in order to compete for the Premier League next year. Unfortunately, it seems that none of them will have a successful summer.

According to Romano, the asking price for Kolo Muani would most certainly increase to over €90 million. Also, if there is a bid in the area, Eintracht Frankfurt may consider letting him depart in the summer. What remains to be seen is if Manchester United or Liverpool are willing to pay such large money.
