The WTC final between Team India and Australia got a lot of attention. It was the BIG ONE that many would say on Test cricket. And where there is India, there are plenty of fans. And that’s just how things are with this game, that is considered a religion in this country. The fans love their team and follow it around the globe.

Further, Australia too had a decent amount of support in England. But, knowing the rivalry between the two cricketing nations, it wasn’t enough in terms of numbers. At the end of the day, it’s all that they needed to win the WTC final 2023.

And after the loss of 209 runs that the Indian team suffered, things did not look good for them. Virat Kohli retired from Test cricket and that was the end of that love story.

Raghav Chadha

The Indian politician and member of the Aam Aadmi Party was at the game. He is the youngest Member of Parliament, for the Rajya Sabha from Punjab. Also, was the former Vice Chairman of the Delhi Jal Board and MLA from the Rajendra Nagar assembly constituency in Delhi till 2022. He was at the game with another celebrity, one whom he got engaged to quite recently.

Parineeti Chopra

Alongside Raghav Chadha was his fiance, Parineeti Chopra. The Bollywood actress was there to cheer for the Indian team and have a good time. The duo are spending some time in London, ahead of their rumoured wedding. They were at the game at the Oval and though the result didn’t favour the Indian team, it was good to Parineeti there, watching the match enthusiastically.

Anushka Sharma

Indian actress Anushka Sharma and the wife of Virat Kohli came to watch the game and cheer for her husband. No one knew that whether this would be King Kohli’s final Test match. And yet again Team India lost and she got blamed for it by some section of the fans. It was a sad and emotional end to a not-so great cricketing match. Virat Kohli’s love for Test cricket is well-known for sure and it was sad to see Team India lose once again.

Speed calls himself a Virat Kohli fan and was at the game wearing his jersey. He was spotted speaking to the likes of Harbhajan Singh and more. Though he is famous for Cristiano Ronaldo fandom, his presence there caught the attention of one and all for sure.

Peter Drury

The voice of football, Peter Drury was himself at the game. And he had a brilliant exchange with Harsha Bhogle, in which the latter seemed a bit nervous for once. After all those years of experience on the mike and making a name for himself, no one imagined Harsha to feel the pressure. But it was what was and Drury clearly outshined him and left his mark.
