Afghanistan Cricketer Will Not Represent His Nation Anymore; Quits Due To Corruption And Other Agendas

Afghanistan Cricketer

Usman Ghani is not happy with the Afghanistan Cricket Board. He has clearly expressed his unhappiness on Social Media. Further, the Afghanistan cricketer recently suggested that he will not be representing the national team any time soon, with corruption plaguing the selection committee at present.

This is a strong statement from the 26-year-old opening batsmen. He is dropped for no reason, as per his claims. And when he tried to get answers, all he got was stalling. To add to that, the chief selector had no satisfactory response for him. He exclusion from all 3 formats of the game is shocking.

What Did The Afghanistan Cricketer Tweet Out With Regards To His Selection For The National Team!?

Well, the player clearly tried his best to get some answers. However, he was given none. And he has no interest in playing for the national team in the near future. He made this claim on Twitter. And said that he will be waiting for some change within the hierarchy.

Well, this is not at all good news for the cricket in Afghanistan. They are already facing a lot of problems and if this is what is going on within their ranks, then it will cause more trouble. No Afghanistan cricketer will be happy hearing this news. And they will all be worried about their future.

Let’s hope a resolution for this issue is found soon. Everyone want the nation to grow in stature in the field of cricket, which they have done slowly in recent years. And such an allegation/claim will be not be good for their future.

What Next For Usman Ghani; What Does This Mean For Him!?

With such a statement sent out by the player, he will be taking a break for international cricket. It seems that the batsman will be focusing on domestic cricket. Though he doesn’t yet play in the IPL, that could be something that he might be looking forward to.

There are a lot of Afghanistan cricketers doing well in the competition already. And their number and quality is growing each season. So, it might be high time that Usman Ghani makes his way into a franchise too. He could be of some use to teams for sure!!

Whether he plays regularly for a team or not, will be seen shortly. For now, his future doesn’t look too bright. It will be interesting to see which directions things turn to, in the days to follow. It’s just a matter of time before this matter escalates. That is, with the fans talking about it a lot already.

For now, we will keep tracking all the latest updates on this matter. If anything new shows up, we at Beyond The Posts will cover it for sure!!
