€60M Rated Signing Ready To Move To Arsenal In January Or In The Summer

Sergej Milinkovic-Savic is reportedly open to joining Arsenal, even though he had been hesitant to join the north London team in the past

Corriere Dello Sport, as reported by Sport Witness, says that Sergej Milinkovic-Savic could join Arsenal if the Premier League leaders make a big offer for him. During the summer, it was said that the Gunners’ advances were turned down. Things have changed a lot, including how the player felt about joining them in the past.

Sergej Milinkovic-Savic has been linked to the Premier League for many years, so he is used to it. The Serb is still Lazio’s best player. Maurizio Sarri can always count on him. Lazio, a big team in Serie A, has been able to keep teams interested for many years, but they may only be able to do so for a short time.

Will Sergej Milinkovic-Savic move to the Emirates?

The Serbian midfielder is the heart and soul of this Lazio team. The giants of Serie A are not going to let him go cheaply. Because of how they acted last summer, a few sides may not have been able to make good offers. Milinkovic-Savic was wanted by Italy for €100 million.

Also, it was said that Arsenal made an offer of €60 million to try to get the big team in Serie A to sell. But Lazio didn’t give in. Milinkovic-Savic didn’t want to play for Arsenal because they weren’t in the Champions League.

Arsenal is currently in first place in the Premier League standings. They still have a chance to make it to the Champions League next season. So it’s possible that Milinkovic-Savic has changed his mind. He is now said to be open to joining Arsenal if they make him a good offer.

What’s next?

His contract situation at Lazio could also make Arsenal want to make an offer soon. Milinkovic-Savic is willing to sign a new contract as long as it has a release clause that can’t be worth more than €60 million. His current agreement ends in 2024.

The Gunners are interested and could make another offer in January worth €60 million. Mikel Arteta wants a player with the skills of Milinkovic-Savic. Arsenal wants to keep playing at the same level and add players who will make the team better.

Milinkovic-Savic is ready to play in the Premier League because he has scored goals and helped others score. Other teams are still interested in the Serb. But if the Gunners make him an offer, he might take it. The question is whether that will happen in January or next summer.

However, if it does happen, this will be a big more for Arsenal. Arsenal do need a player of such profile to play for them. Thomas Partey has been injury prone. So, Arsenal do a need a big midfield presence.
