A YouTube video of a naked man running all over the ground on Day 1 of the ongoing Mount Maunganui Test went viral as viewers couldn’t stop laughing. New Zealand and Pakistan participating in a bilateral Test series saw some interruption as a naked person came running to the pitch while the home team’s skipper Kane Williamson was about to take guard. While he ran all through the field chased by the guards, the spectators laughed.
It was indeed a funny sight and such things do tend to happen at times. We had seen a naked woman running onto the pitch in the finals of the 2018 World Cup. Unfortunately, this time it was a man (just kidding). However, looking at the funny side of things, ‘All’s well that ends well!!’
The Video From New Zealand Vs Pakistan That Went Viral On Social Media
However, this scene of humour soon became a reason for outrage when the security personnel at the Bay Oval manhandled the intruder. After chasing him for quite a while a security guard had to take the person down. He pushed him to the ground to establish control.
As the manhandling offended some viewers some of them blamed the naked streaker for the waste of time. The incident caused a brief discussion on Twitter, users criticizing the way the security personnel handled the incident. They asked a security person to be escorted than the streaker himself. However, some part of the Twitterati was found annoyed with the intruder. They blamed him for Kane Williamson couldn’t complete his century on Day one and had to go back with an unbeaten 94 at stumps.
The YouTube video received several laughs when it was shared on social media. People enjoyed watching the security guards chase the man all over the park amid the test match.
