English superstar Kevin Pietersen rolled back years in the ongoing Road Safety World Series 2021 by playing a superb knock against India Legends on matchday 9 of the special tournament at the Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh International Stadium. His 75 off 37 balls helped England post a huge total of 188 for seven in 20 overs. Kevin Pietersen’s fireworks resulted in the fastest half-century of the tournament.
It was a great win for the English side. They really kicked off from their batting form and it showed in their bowling and fielding too. Great overall performance to make anyone proud.

Kevin Pietersen is captaining the England Legends team in the 2021 edition of the action-packed Road Safety World Series. The full-time cricket pundit(known for his cricketing analysis post his international retirement) smashed the India Legnegs led by Sachin Tendulkar.
Fans applauded Pietersen and were convinced that he should come out of retirement to feature in the England national team against Team India.

For India Legends, Yusuf Pathan was the best bowler on display. He picked up three wickets. Irfan Pathan and Munaf Patel also chipped in with a couple of wickets apiece.
While chasing a target of 189 the hosts were in trouble at 18 for three in the fourth over. India Legends have lost Virender Sehwag , Mohammed Kaif, and Sachin Tendulkar early. But a brilliant partnership between Irfan Pathan (61 not out off 34 balls) and Manpreet Gony(35 not out off 16 balls). Despite their late fireworks, India Legends lost by five runs.
What a great game though it was a loss for India legends; Kevin Pietersen has still got it
Kevin Pietersen’s knock could not be matched, though the India Legends tried their best. They were so close to the target. However, it needed more from them and that did not just happen. India Legends will want to take a lot of positives from this loss and will be hoping to do more in the upcoming games.
On the other hand, England Legends would be proud of this performance. They did everything right and got the result in their favour. What a great win for the English side!!
