Not just the fans, even former Indian players are having fun on Twitter. The latest to join this list is Irfan Pathan. We know that Wasim Jaffer and co. keep having fun on Social Media. In fact, the former opening batsman is a boss on Twitter. Meanwhile, some other cricketers do tend to give their opinions on the platform as well.
However, Irfan Pathan is one of the more vocal ones. He posts about what he feels all the time. Once again, he did the same post-Team India’s horrific eight-wicket loss to England in the first T20I.
He highlighted the reason for the loss of the Indian team. While most fans would have agreed, there was one who tried to troll him. That is something that regularly happens with Twitteratti expressing their dislike for a player.

So, Irfan Pathan put his opinion out there, as to why Team India lost the game to England. He was clear about his opinion and did not rant. The former Indian all-rounder, who is playing for India Legends at present in the 2020-21 Road Safety World Series said-

In response to this Tweet, a fan who uses the handle @Extremist tried to troll Irfan Pathan. He responded to the reason by saying-

However, when the fan would have thought that there would be no backlash, Irfan Pathan had something more planned. He took out time to respond to the fan and give him one back. That was fun to watch for the fans.

The Ex-Indian Pacer Does Have A Point; Team India Was Poor In The Bowling Department
Team India was not that great in the bowling department and was totally outplayed. That is why a lot of fans were unhappy and will want a better performance from the team. Virat Kohli and co. will really have to improve their performance in the upcoming games. This is a five-match series and hence there is still a chance to get back into it.
Irfan Pathan does have a point and many of the fans would agree with him. England choked the life out of the game with their quick bowling. They bowled bouncers, slow balls and more. Also, the field placing was perfect as well. Many of the Indian batsmen directly found the fielders too. That was not really good for the Indian team and their fans.
Irfan Pathan will want to keep it calm and composed as he is a Pundit for the IPL as well. He will not want to have too much hate on Twitter so that the fans don’t start calling him out for any reason. Hopefully, Team India also play better cricket and the fans have something to cheer for!!
