It was always going to be tough for the visitors to win the match. Devon Conway kicked started the New Zealand innings with a brilliant 126 off 110 deliveries. He was even adjudged the Man Of The Match for his knock.
However, it was Daryl Michel who completed a century in some style. That was the talking point towards the end of the first innings. He helped set the target of 319 for Bangladesh, with his batting. He did so too in the last over of his team’s batting.

What Next For New Zealand And Bangladesh Post This ODI Series?
Well, the two teams are going to play a T20 series in the upcoming days after the 50-over format was dominated by the home side. Bangladesh will be keen to make up for the loss in this series, after being white-washed by the Kiwis. They will want to perform much better in the shorter format of the game.
Moreover, the series would be more important with the T20 World Cup coming up. Both teams will want to play some good cricket and push for a win. It always is crucial to gain some momentum with the IPL coming up too. The players will have a tough and highly intense few months this year. So, they will want to be physically and mentally prepared for the same.
