The 21-year-old has been on fire since joining Stade de Reims on loan for the 2022-23 season when he has been playing in Ligue 1. Although Balogun is signed with Arsenal until 2025 and progressed through the club’s youth system, he has only seen action in 10 games for the Gunners’ first team. Thus contributing to two goals and one assist.

His luck completely turned around at the Stadium Auguste-Delaune. The youthful striker has scored 15 goals and added two assists in 23 games played in Ligue 1. The French club apparently sought to transform his loan into a permanent transfer in January due to his outstanding impact. But the Gunners quickly rejected the move.
