It’s just fun to hit out at a player who isn’t doing well at present. That’s just how things are. Though, the ex-Indian vice-captain does not have too many haters, he has often been called a stat-padder. And some of his performances do tend to support that claim!!
At times, KL Rahul makes you feel otherwise. But then there are times when this TAG seems to be true to the core. Not sure, whether he should be in the team at times. Or whether he should just stick to particular formats, like ODI. And leave T20 cricket alone!!

IPL 2022 was Hardik Pandya’s tournament and he made a name for himself in it. He was so good as a player and a skipper that he got the captaincy in the shorter format of the game with Team India for some time, in the absence of Rohit Sharma. This was a real life-changing tournament for him.
Now, if KL Rahul can do something similar with the team from Lucknow, it could be HUGE for him too. LSG looked a great team in the previous edition of the tournament as well. Now, all they need to do is be consistent and keep winning. If that can happen, the opening batsman of the Indian team and LSG, could be going places once again.
