KL Rahul was hurt during the game between the Lucknow Super Giants and the Royal Challengers Bangalore. The opening batsman came in to bat last, due to this problem. He had initially gone off while fielding, as he had a serious injury. Even after some personalized treatment and care, he could not recover in time for the second innings. That’s how serious it was!!
Now, the fans were concerned!! Despite the fact that KL Rahul wasn’t in the best of nicks for T20I cricket, he has always been an asset for ODIs. And can surely do his bit in Test cricket too. With the WTC Final coming up and the 50-over World Cup in a few months, there were some serious doubts about his fitness.

The Latest Update On KL Rahul; What Did Krunal Pandya Tell The Fans!?
Pandya was their stand-in captain, with Rahul missing. The all-rounder provided a major update on his skipper. It was just to ensure the fans not to worry after the game.
He said, “It is such a sad thing Rahul pulled his hip flexor. Am not aware how bad it is. And the medical team will assess it.”
To add to that, Ravi Bishnoi also talked about KL Rahul after the loss to RCB. He spoke in a post-match presser about the game. Bishnoi wasn’t happy about the loss to the team from Bengaluru.
He expressed this during the interview and further went on to add, “The target was really chasable. Injury to KL Rahul was a huge setback. We lost one batter. And then we played quite a few poor shots as well.”
What Next For LSG With Regards To The IPL 2023 Tournament; Where Do They Stand Now!?
LSG is in 3rd spot at present in the IPL 2023 points table. They are behind the Gujarat Titans and the Rajasthan Royals. However, they are still in a decent position and are contenders to finish in the top 4. All they need to showcase now is some consistency.
The way that LSG have lost some games this campaign is really embarrassing. They will want to put those losses behind them and move forward in the days to come. The focus for KL Rahul and co. will be to find some form. If that happens, they will be fighting for the IPL trophy once again this season.
