Latest Arsenal News: 3 Players That Gunners Can Offer West Ham To Save Money On The Declan Rice Deal!?

"Arsenal Should Not Get Him" - Arsenal Told To Not Sign The £120M Player That Mikel Arteta Wants In 2023

Latest Arsenal News: It seems to be the case that West Ham are hyping up the price of Declan Rice. They have already rejected an opening bid made by the Gunners. And are looking to make more money from the deal. Now, though Arsenal are interested in the player, there have often been times when they lose out on a star due to the high asking-price of the club. Manchester City is also linked to the player, as per reports.

Mikel Arteta and co. will want to avoid such a situation in this case. But, if they don’t want to pay the money in full, the other option is to add a player to the deal. It was previously suggested that the Hammers wanted Smith Rowe as part of the deal. However, this wasn’t acceptable at any cost.

Latest Arsenal News: Further, there are more players that Arsenal can offer to their London rivals. And so, we at BTP, made a list of 3 players that West Ham can take for sure!!

Cedric Soares

West Ham has always needed versatile players that can help David Moyes’ ambitions. After finishing 6 points above the relegation zone, they will want to add more quality. If the London-based club are going to lose their skipper Declan Rice this summer, they will want to spend big and add more quality in midfield.

With that being the case, they will need more options for their defence that don’t cost too much. If Arsenal do offer Cedric, who can play on either flanks as a full-back and as a wing-back as well, depending on the role given, the club might take that offer, as part of a swap deal.

However, one thing to be remembered is that, Arsenal won’t get too much money for this player. And it will just be a bare minimum in deductions on the Declan Rice deal, as he is already 31. The current value of the Portuguese international is between €2.7m and €4.5m.

Eddie Nketiah

With the form that Folarin Balogun is in, he will surely be in Mikel Arteta’s plans. The striker could be the backup to Gabriel Jesus in the upcoming season. If that is the case, the club might offload Eddie Nketiah. The attacker just extended his contract with Arsenal last season.

And this sale could see him get more opportunities at the London Stadium. Besides, he will be in the same city and it will benefit him too. If the player has ambitions of more football, he could surely make the switch.

The player has a ‘bad’ habit of scoring at crucial time, as a substitute. And earning some key points for his team. This could benefit the Hammers in the upcoming season. He is currently valued between €13.1m and €21.8m, but Arsenal may demand for more, as part of the swap deal (plus cash) for Declan Rice!!

Nicolas Pepe

One of the biggest flops of the Emirates era is Nicolas Pepe. The club overspent for him and still can’t get rid of him. They want him off their books and West Ham could be the club to sell to. That is, in the form of a swap deal for Declan Rice.

Though Pepe hasn’t had the best of times playing on the wings, he could be part of West Ham’s setup. He could play as a creative midfielder or as a forward, either for Antonio at times, or alongside him in front of goal.

Either way, Pepe could do more for the Hammers, than he ever could for Arsenal. That is, if David Moyes can get the best out of him. His current market value is around €9.3m and €15.6m, but Arsenal will at least try to get about €30m for him for sure. Let’s wait and watch!!
