Eager To Sign?
The Blues have sold combative midfielder Nemanja Matic to Premier League rivals Manchester United and now Chelsea boss Antonio Conte is looking for a replacement in the centre of the park. Recent reports have suggested that Renato Sanches is the latest player that the Italian manager is keen on bringing to London.
Having already won the Premier League title in the first year at Chelsea, Conte is now preparing for a sterner test as he looks to defend his title in the upcoming season.
To do so, he has already brought in reinforcements in the form of Willy Caballero, Tiemoue Bakayoko and Alvaro Morata.
In a recent friendly against Bayern Munich, Conte reportedly asked the Bavarian manager on the availability of Portuguese wonder-kid Renato Sanches.
That has sparked rumors of the 19 year old possibly switching to Stamford Bridge over the summer.
Sanches has not had a great season in the Bundesliga following European success in 2016 with his national side.
The youngster has found it difficult to break-through into the first team as he managed to start only six league games, unable to have a massive impact for the German champions. Having arrived from Benfica for a fee of €35m, the fans and club would have expected a bit more from the highly rated teenager.
However, the Portuguese stars’ future at the Allianz arena looks uncertain as fans have already pleaded him to leave the club after his flopping performances last term.
Sanches also wants to play regular football and may not be able to find that at Chelsea as they too have a star-studded squad and Sanches will have to work extremely hard to find an establishing berth.
AC Milan though, are looking to take advantage of the situation and are reportedly bidding €45m for the outcast.
Although a move anywhere from Bayern seems unlikely for Sanches, the Serie A side now have deeper pockets that could make Bayern think twice about keeping an unhappy player at the club.

It is being suggested that Liverpool are leading the race at present to sign him and could leave their domestic rivals empty handed. Conte will want to avoid that, though Klopp will try his best to get the deal sorted out, as soon as possible.
The Reds have not really spent too much in the transfer market and if they sign this star, it will be a feather on their cap.
Deal Or No Deal?
The 19 year old attacker is really mature for his age and does have the talent to add more quality to any side’s attack, if given the right kind of opportunities to display his talent. He has not been utilized well at the Allianz Arena, with just 17 appearances to his name, since joining the champions of Germany, back in 2016.
He can still make a name for himself in England, if he does make the move at a young age, due to which it is the west London outfit, who are keen on making that happen this summer.
With the player ready to leave Bayern and the club will to sell too, it should be a win-win situation for all three parties and hopefully the move is completed soon.
