Sheffield Shield Update- The game between South Australia and Western Australia ended in a draw. It was a first-class game from Australia and the 14th game out of 25. With that being said, the game ended in a draw. The match could not produce a winner in the allotted time.
It was South Australia that was really close to a win. They were just a wicket away from getting the job done. However, things did not happen right for them. They fell short by a whisker. Not just in the game but on the last delivery of the match as well.
Here is the video of the final delivery of the game between Western Australia and South Australia that went viral-
The Sheffield Shield has produced some good four-day games. This was yet another close encounter between the two sides, though South Australia ended up dominating it towards the end.
However, with time being a factor, Western Australia ended up holding on to a draw. Despite that, the final delivery of the game was quite intense and it could have produced a result. The final ball of the game too nearly ended the match. If only it carried a bit further into the hands of one of the fielders that were just standing a few inches away
Due to this, Social Media shared the video around and the reaction of the fielding team said it all. This nerve-wracking moment really produced some exciting content for the fans. The true cricket faithful would have had fun watching the teams play. Great cricket to say the least!!

The result of this epic game does indeed tell the whole story; though South Australia would be disappointed that they couldn’t win the game-
It was a great game of cricket, to say the least. The end result may have been rather disappointing. However, the excitement was still there in this format of the game.
No words needed ?

The scorecard clearly showed that a lot of runs were scored by both teams in the first innings. However, the second innings could have been a game-changer. That is where the fans felt that South Australia batted too long.
They handed Western Australia a ray of hope by doing so. A few more hours of cricket left and it would have been an easy win for the team from the south. Unfortunately, the call that was made by them did not produce the right result that they needed.
The target was 332 and Western Australia were stuck at 148/9. It meant that there was no way that they were going to win the game. The only potential option that they possibly had from the start was a draw. However, the poor call from Travis Head and the team management saved their opponents in this fixture. Maybe, it is high time to change the skipper? What do you say to that South Australia!?
