Virat Kohli is always known for his enthusiasm and short-temper. He is also known for the use of certain words all the time, deemed to be inappropriate for family audiences. With that being said, one of the best batsmen in the world, King Kohli does have his flaws. They are out there for all to see and he doesn’t try to hide it.
Due to this, he tends to keep getting stick all the time. He is criticized for over-committing and intimidating, something that was highlighted during the Test series. This time, it wasn’t an umpire he was targetting or abusing. It was Shardul Thakur at the end of the stick.
The Video Of Virat Kohli Reminding Shardul Thakur Who Ben Stokes Is Or Maybe Not
Virat Kohli has a habit of remembering Ben Stokes quite a lot. It is a good habit for the fans who love to see him and make viral videos, while it may not be so good for the individual receiving the abuse. With that being said, this time another Indian player got his daily reminder of Ben Stokes in Hindi.
The player getting the heat from the skipper was Shardul Thakur. The incident happened when Team India was bowling. They were not getting enough wickets and Virat Kohli lost it.
Below is the video of the entire incident that went viral on Social Media yet again-

England was cruising along towards an easy win. They had just lost a couple of wickets. Yuzvendra Chahal was bowling and Shardul Thakur was the fielder when Jonny Bairstow played the ball towards him. His throw was rather vague and it didn’t go towards either end.
In fact, it went straight towards Virat Kohli, who did not look at all pleased with the effort. That is when he remembered Ben Stokes. Funny sight for a neutral or an English fan.
What Next For Team India In This Series; Can They Recover And Revive Yet Again After Going Down 2-1 To England?
Team India has become the comeback kings in recent times. However, that was in the Test format. This seems a very tough job for them now. Virat Kohli and co. will have to play some really special cricket to win this series. It has been almost impossible to dethrone the world’s best T20 team.
Though Team India is just second in the pecking order, it doesn’t make the job any easier. England boasts of a long batting order, which hasn’t even been tested full yet during a chase. The fans will also be hoping that the Indian openers and upper order batsmen start firing and help put up a solid total.
They have failed to impress so far and the only positive from the last two games is that skipper Virat Kohli is back in form. However, the other batsmen need to start contributing and opener KL Rahul could be dropped for the upcoming game. It will be interesting to see how things go for Team India and whether they can’t recover now or not. This can surely have an impact on the upcoming T20 World Cup, as this is supposed to be a test-run for that competition!!
