The James Neesham Comment- There is no doubt that the Indian Premier League (IPL) is the biggest spectacle in the franchise cricket world. It does not only attract the interests of the cricket fans but also a number of people. These are people who only wait for the Twenty20 action every year. This year things have not been the same mainly due to the Coronavirus pandemic. That has resulted in a nationwide shutdown.
Sporting activities have also been hindered due to the pandemic. Therefore the IPL which was scheduled to start on March 29 got postponed. Now, it will commence from September 19, the whole tournament will be conducted in the United Arab Emirates. Matches will be played behind closed doors.

The Story That Social Media Is Talking About
The decision has been taken mainly due to the rising cases in India and therefore the committee decided to shift its venue to UAE. Abu Dhabi, Sharjah and Dubai are the three allotted venues where the matches will be played.
The tournament will see a lot of star cricketers coming together and displaying their brilliance on the pitch. New Zealand allrounder James Neesham will also be a part of this edition’s IPL after he was picked by the Kings XI Punjab. The Kings will be captained by India star batsman KL Rahul who will replace Ravichandran Ashwin who was earlier seen leading the franchise. Ashwin has been picked up by the Delhi Capitals and will be seen leading their bowling attack.
