Pakistani Player Trolled- Fawad Alam came back in Pakistan Test side after 10 years and 259 days and he got out for a duck. Alam made his Test debut in 2009 against Sri Lanka. He scored 168 runs in his debut test match against Sri Lanka away from home. However, the left-handed batsman got dropped from the Test squad of Pakistan after two matches. Fawad Alam was again selected in the test squad of Pakistan against Sri Lanka ten years later. It was a two-match test series against Sri Lanka.
However, Fawad Alam has not been able to feature in a single test match in that series. He became the part of the test squad of Pakistan against England in 2020. In the second match of the series, the team management has decided to give Fawad Alam an opportunity to play a test match for his country after 11 years.
The comeback of Fawad Alam (Pakistani player) is not much memorable as he has failed to score a single run in the first innings. Fawad Alam came on the crease when Stuart Broad took the wicket of Shafiq Alam. Pakistan was struggling after losing four wickets and they needed a partnership badly at that moment. Babar Azam was on the other side and he was trying to build up his innings. The overhead condition was clearly favouring the bowlers and the English cricketers were trying to make use of it mostly.

How England Took Charge Of The Game?
Chris Woakes’ delivery stuck the pad of Fawad Alam. However, the on-field umpire Richard Kettleborough did not raise his finger. The bowler was very much confident and he urged his captain to take a review. Joe Root was not much convinced. However, he took the review reluctantly. The ultra-edge showed that the ball did not touch the bat. The three red dots made the umpire changing his decision. After Fawad Alam’s dismissal, Pakistan is in trouble. However, the rain came as their saviour and it stopped the play temporarily. The break was much needed for Pakistan as they would be able to regroup themselves and it might affect the rhythm of the English fast bowlers.
England is ahead in the three-match Test series by a margin of 1-0. The English cricketers have been able to keep their nerves strong on the fifth day of the first test match and they won the match by three wickets. The partnership between Chris Woakes and Jos Buttler was pivotal in the win of England. Pakistan was desperate to make a comeback in the test series.
What The Situation Of The Pakistani Team Is So Bad?
Their captain (Pakistani skipper) chose to bat first in the second Test match. However, the batsmen of Pakistan were not able to capitalize on the decision of their captain. Now, Babar Azam’s role will be crucial for Pakistan to stay in the match.
Fawad Alam has not been able to make his mark in the first innings. He will have to perform in the second innings to keep his place in the side. Otherwise, Fawad Alam will again be thrown out of the Test side of Pakistan after making a comeback.
