Wasim Jaffer mustered the habit of giving apt and savage replies to the trolls of the Indian cricket team for a long time now. Through his meme-centric tweets and cricket based parody posts, the veteran cricketer has, in the meantime, accumulated a huge fan base of more than 380k followers on his Twitter account. He does not fail to keep his fans entertained with his savage replies and memes.
What Was The Response Of Wasim Jaffer To Michael Vaughan’s Silly Comment?
Former England cricketer Michael Vaughan is one of Jaffer’s favourite ‘targets’. Being a harsh critic himself, Vaughan does not fail to give a good competition to Wasim Jaffer with some comic tweets of his own.
The Englishman has seldom backed off from critiquing the Indian Cricket team as and when required, and the Indian ‘Meme King’ Wasim Jaffer loves to reply to his comments in his unique own style. The world test championship final, to be played between India and New Zealand, is knocking at our doors and the stakes are as high as they get.
Seemingly the trash talks have started as well, with Michael Vaughan being the first one to take a step forward in the deliberation. In a recent interview, Vaughan compared Indian skipper Virat Kohli to kiwi skipper Kane Williamson claiming that the latter would have been the best player in the world, had he been born in India!

“If Kane Williamson was Indian, he would be the greatest player in the world. But he’s not because you’re not allowed to say that Virat Kohli is not the greatest, because you’d get an absolute pelting on social media. So, you all say Virat is the best purely to get a few more clicks and likes, few more numbers following here. Kane Williamson, across formats, is equally the best. I think the way he plays, the calm demeanour, his humbleness, the fact that he is silent about what he does,” Vaughan told Spark Sport. An unnecessary jab at Virat Kohli indeed, and how could our meme-king not have replied to it.
Extra ungli Hrithik ke paas hai par karta Michael Vaughan hai ? #ViratKohli #KaneWilliamson https://t.co/YRnOyPwwNC

Retweeting the quote by Vaughan, Wasim Jaffer wrote, “Extra ungli Hrithik ke paas hai par karta Michael Vaughan hai” (translation:- Hrithik Roshan has an extra finger, but it is often Vaughan who uses it to poke others). In context, it is a well-known fact, that famous Bollywood actor Hrithik Roshan has 6 fingers in his hand. Wasim Jaffer humorously mixed up this reference with a Hindi proverb, to make fun of Michael Vaughan.
How Jaydev Unadkat Responded To The Former Indian Batsman’s Troll?
The Tweet got tons of likes and reTweets in no time. Cricket fans had a good laugh in the comments section. That was by sharing memes about Vaughan and Jaffer. To add to the fun, Indian pacer Jaydev Unadkat commented on Wasim Jaffer’s Tweet as well.
Wasim bhai! ??????
— Jaydev Unadkat (@JUnadkat) May 14, 2021
The Rajasthan Royals player wrote “Wasim Bhai!” followed by a couple of laughing emojis. It was evident that the pacer couldn’t contain his laughter. That was by reading the Tweet that was really funny too. It will now be interesting to see, how the Englishman will react to it.
With the postponement of IPL 2020-21, fans have been missing the cricket fever. That is amidst the growing COVID-19 pandemic. It is similar to last year when things were this bad. Small Twitter debates like this do wonders in providing some sort of entertainment to the cricket fans, and although some may consider it to be unnecessary, there is no harm in it if it serves the purpose of entertaining the cricket fans.
