Deadpool 3 Update!! The Marvel Comic Universe has always been a realm to explore the world of fantasy with a rationality that is unparalleled to any other. Born in the mind of the Late Mr. Stan Lee, a true genius in the world of fiction, some might even say revolutionary, Wolverine has remained one of the most beloved characters in MCU.
However, before the death of the creator, the character of Wolverine was seen dying at the hands of his younger self back in 2017 in the namesake movie, ‘Logan.’ This was something that did not really go down well with the fans. Despite that, there was a pretty good reason for it to happen!!
Deadpool 3: So here arises the question: How is Marvel planning to bring a dead mutant to life?
Well, as we already know, Marvel’s creativity is nothing short of genius no matter who directs the movies. And now that they have complete creative control over the story, there are a few possibilities they are exploring.
Of course, some of us watched the hilarious yet unhelpful Twitter feed by Deadpool actor Ryan Reynolds. He was hosting a questionnaire with Hugh Jackman, a.k.a., Wolverine. However, witty as they are, they managed to mask all the answers. This was behind an 80’s theme song, while keeping viewers engaged and inquisitive.
So we took it upon ourselves to explore the possibilities and here are a few donuts we came up with:
- Logan is set in the year 2029. Whereas, we pretty much have Deadpool living in the current year of filming or release of the movie. It is therefore possible that Wolverine is still alive and kicking, what with his extreme rejuvenating mutations.
- MCU has hinted at Multiverses even before Dr. Strange came to be. Of course, Wanda and the whole debacle with Spiderman: No Way Home puts things in greater perspective. The idea is one that offers multiple possibilities.
So, in Deadpool 3, it is very likely that the version of Logan, i.e., Wolverine who accompanies the witty, sarcastic character of Wade Wilson is one that has been procured from another parallel universe. It could have happened during the awry events of Dr. Strange’s whole universe-hopping phenomenon.

3. Not only did we watch Wolverine die in a Marvel movie, but we also witnessed how Wade Wilson’s mouth was sewn shut. Later, he was awarded profusely cool powers in the X-men movies. The new version of Deadpool, on the other hand, is a modern-day character. He is very much capable of thinking for himself and talking non-stop.
The character is also slightly different in its essence, which forces us to believe that maybe Deadpool himself exists in a parallel universe where none of the apocalyptic events have taken place. Therefore, it is safe to deduce that the Wolverine of his timeline never even had the showdown with him in the X-men Origins.
Regardless of what twist they come up with, one thing is for sure. Marvel has a good, long 7 years to fill before the death of Logan was even made possible. While one of our speculations may just hit the bull’s eye, we are just as curious as you. The explanation for this marvel from Marvel will soon be out!! For sure!!
