India’s limited-overs vice-captain Rohit Sharma had to help Virat Kohli create a breather for the regular bowlers as the opener took on the ball for a bit. Sharma comes out as a part-time off-spinner – hence his bowling wasn’t a complete surprise – but he went on to imitate India great Harbhajan Singh’s iconic action that left netizens laughing.
The Video Of Rohit Sharma Bowling That Went Viral
The Mumbai Indians skipper bowled two overs of off-spin giving away seven runs. In the final delivery before tea, Rohit came in mimicking Harbhajan Singh’s bowling action, leaving the team in splits. He hopped, skipped and then stretched his bowling arm all the way as the Turbanator did. The ball – a full toss – was played for a single by Joe Root.

“Rohit Sharma bowling with the action of Harbhajan is this a sign of MI getting Harbhajan in the upcoming IPL auction,” another user said.
Well, everyone seemed to be joining in on the fun. The players and the fans were just trying to have a laugh and enjoy the match. It is a game that is in England’s favour at present. However, anything can happen on a cricket pitch.
Wasim Jaffer took on to his Twitter to explain India’s situation in the game.
“So how is the Test going?”
“Rohit Sharma is bowling”
“Oh got it.”

What Next For Team India And Rohit Sharma?
All Indian players, including captain Virat Kohli, had a smile on their faces as they headed to the dressing room after that.
This was not it, the twelve deliveries Sharma bowled saw him and Pant chit-chat to keep the mood light. The wicketkeeper-batsman like always shouted instructions from behind and stumps and Sharma said, “Theek hai, Sir” with a grin on his face.
The Indian team – especially the bowlers – were all worn out for Joe Root played a tremendous 218 run inning off 377 balls. Ben Stokes also stuck his 82 to the total and opener Dominic Sibley scored an 87. Having bowled more than 150 overs, Kohli realized that his bowlers needed a lot of rest.
Meanwhile, Rishabh Pant – despite having some important drop catches against his name– kept the spirits high. Like he always does, Pant kept chatting I’m the background. He also reminded Shahbaz Nadeem that India had run out of reviews when the left-arm spinner wanted to use one before the break. He was also heard asking the players to not lose spirit.
While Nadeem was the only Indian bowler who picked up a wicket in the third session of Day 3, Ashwin found Ollie Pope soon in the fourth session. Joe Root fell to a drifting ball from round the wicket that slid onto his front pad.
