CeeDee Lamb, born on April 8, 1999, is a wide receiver for the Dallas Cowboys of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Oklahoma, where he earned the consensus All-American title in 2019. The Cowboys drafted him in the first round of the 2020 NFL Draft.
CeeDee Lamb was born in Opelousas, Louisiana but had to evacuate with his family to Houston, Texas due to Hurricane Katrina’s effects on New Orleans in 2005. He attended John and Randolph Foster High School in Richmond, Texas, where he played high school football. In his junior year, he caught 57 receptions for 1,082 yards and 11 touchdowns.
During his senior year in 2016, Lamb achieved impressive stats with 98 receptions for 2,032 yards (which ranks fourth in state history), 33 receiving touchdowns (which ties for second in state history), and three punt returns for touchdowns. He led his team, alongside quarterback Alex Ramart, to a 14-1 overall record. The only loss against Temple High School in the 5A-D1 state semifinals. Lamb received several honors, including All-State, Houston Touchdown Club’s Offensive Player of the Year. He also won the Houston Chronicle’s All-Greater Houston Football Offensive Player of the Year.
Lamb was a highly sought-after four-star recruit by major college football programs such as the University of Alabama and the University of Texas. On July 25, 2016, he committed to play for the University of Oklahoma.
Lamb’s girlfriend is Crymson Rose, a 23-year-old American model, sportswoman, and social media star who is well-known in NFL and American sports circles. The couple has been dating since at least 2019, while they were both attending Oklahoma University.
